At the end of 2024, the "Chronic Disease Management Forum of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the 8th Academic Annual Conference of the Chronic Disease Management Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and the Seminar on the Inheritance of Academic Ideas of Academician Zhang Boli on Turbid Phlegm Drinking Diseases" sponsored by the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine(short for “TCM” hereinafter), the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and other units, were held in Shenzhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The conference was led by Academician Zhang Boli, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and master of traditional Chinese medicine, and nearly 1,000 TCM elites, Chinese medicine scholars and outstanding enterprise representatives from all over the country and even overseas attended the event, aiming to strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation, promote the inheritance, innovation and development of TCM, and make suggestions for the future of TCM.

A number of senior experts in the field of TCM, such as academician Zhang Boli, a TCM master, and a TCM professor in China, made academic sharing. Academician Zhang Boli addressed an academic report on the theme of "Syndrome and Treatment of Turbid Phlegm Drinking Diseases", which profoundly expounded the unique value and broad prospects of TCM in the field of health management with his profound academic attainments and forward-looking insights, and pointed out the direction of disease management for the participants.

During the "Seminar on the Inheritance of Academic Ideas of Academician Zhang Boli's Turbid Phlegm Drinking Disease", more than ten experts, including Professor Mao Jingyuan, a national famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor, Professor Yao Chun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi University of TCM, and Professor Jiang Feng, director of Zhang Boli's TCM Master Studio, analyzed and interpreted Academician Zhang Boli's academic thoughts and theories from the prevention and treatment strategies of different chronic diseases, and practiced the wisdom and experience of the TCM master with clinical application.

At the Overseas TCM and Chronic Disease Industry Forum held during the conference, TCM experts from Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Europe, Malaysia and other parts of the world discussed the latest progress in chronic disease management and the international development route of TCM, contributing wisdom and strength to the development of global health.
